The South West Group Travel Show is the newest event in the Travel Trade Calendar. The first show took place on Saturday 14th January 2012 in Bristol, held at At-Bristol Science and Discovery Centre. The location of the 2013 event is yet to be confirmed however will continue to take place within the South West Region with a provisional expected to be 13th January 2013, this will be confirmed in due course.
This FREE ADMISSION show provides group travel organisers and members of the travel trade with new inspiration for places to visit and things to do with their groups. The first show welcomed more than 200 visitors and featured more than 60 attractions, venues, destinations, tour operators and accommodation providers all under one roof showcasing what they have to offer group visitors. It’s is great opportunity for organisers and businesses to discuss their group requirements face-to-face and pick up new and exciting ideas for itineraries.
Joint organisers Group Travel Organiser Magazine and Tourism South East were pleased with the success of the first show and will continue to work together to support Tourism Businesses across the South West and beyond and build on the success of this new and well received travel trade event.
